Amazon store card metal

My Chase Amazon card changed from Blue to Grey/Black. Called customer service and I was told they will send me a new Chase Amazon Prime card, which is metal plastic. I figure both plastic and metal cards should work. I figure it is cheap to make those metal cards. Or they won't want to rush those. The old blue card still looks cool though.
